Apuana SB deals with the sustainable digitalisation of Made in Italy manufacturing.
The company’s main objective is to innovate short supply chain production, achieved by encouraging businesses to adopt a series of enabling technologies aimed at increasing the perceived value per product unit, rather than pursuing economies of scale based on mass industrial production.
To do so, Apuana SB manages the marketing of two commercial brands, under which two networks have been formed:
the first is a contract network made up of "institutional" entities, whose objective is to provide a series of digital services based on blockchain technology, the most important of which is a product traceability system, "myledger.it"
the second, "Apuana Corporate", is an informal business network engaged in pre-competitive research and the productive coordination of a network aggregated according to the "Distributed Factory" model, with the aim of combining artisan know-how with the principles of Open Innovation.
