The company Sviluppo Toscana s.p.a. operates mainly in support of the Tuscany Region and its dependent entities, as an "in house providing" company, within the framework of regional programming policies. Sviluppo Toscana deals among other things with: implementation of regional and European programming acts: design and implementation of community programs and projects of regional interest; management and control of funds and preliminary examination for the granting of financing, incentives, subsidies, contributions, financial instruments and any other type of regional, national and community benefit to businesses and public entities; technical-operational support for initiatives and activities aimed at achieving economic and social development objectives of regional local communities, within the framework of regional public procurement programs, and much more.

What role does it have in the PRISMA project

Sviluppo Toscana's participation in the CTE (Emerging Technologies Hub) PRISMA is linked to its role of supporting - on behalf of the Tuscany Region - investments in research and development activities of SMEs, and to its activities supporting the creation of new businesses in the territory of the Tuscany region, aimed at greater growth and innovation, objectives for which Sviluppo Toscana is creating new spaces for the location and establishment of businesses, particularly in Prato, in the real estate complex at via Galcianese 34, which it owns. In this very large space, in the order of 8,700 covered square meters, Sviluppo Toscana is developing a place for Research and Innovation serving the Prato and regional economic-production system. It is in this complex that CTE PRISMA will set up its demonstration and conference space and management area.
