Next Technology Tecnotessile (NTT) is a Research Organization with mixed public-private capital (40% belongs to MIUR, the remaining 60% to manufacturing companies) established in Prato in 1972 to be the reference hub for technology transfer, innovation, and support for research, development and technical training activities for companies in the textile, fashion and textile machinery sectors. Today the Company's research and development activities also provide innovation to companies in other manufacturing sectors related to textiles (for example, the world of technical textiles, composite materials and chemistry) but also to more distant sectors (for example, in the paper, leather goods, tanning, accessories, advanced automation, logistics and ICT sectors). NTT has coordinated the Regional Innovation Hub for the Fashion Sector for the Tuscany Region, as well as the OTIR 2020 Fashion Technology District which includes approximately 500 companies in the textile-clothing sector.

What role does it have in the PRISMA project

In PRISMA it will be responsible for training activities, R&D projects on emerging technologies and 5G, and management of the demonstration space dedicated to companies.
