The PRISMA location on via Galcianese hosts the headquarters, the demonstration space - which will host CTE public events - and the coworking space.

The coworking space

In this space, CTE provides innovative startups that request it with open space environments equipped with workstations furnished with broadband connection.
The startups eligible to occupy these spaces are those operating in the sectors of Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain and 5G applied to the textile-fashion (T&M) sector and Made in Italy.

The coworking room, with a total surface area of 132 sqm, is equipped with the following facilities:

• n. 3 tables 120 x 240 with n. 6 seats each positioned in three environments separated by dividing shelves (n. 18 total seats);  
• bookcases with compartments equipped with locks to store the equipment of hosted subjects;
• relaxation area equipped with armchairs, water dispenser, coffee machine, etc.

Space hours:  

from Monday to Friday from 9.00 am - 6.00 pm with possible extension and modification (also in terms of use during the weekend) to be agreed upon with the Municipality, based on operational needs.

The workstations are assigned through a public expression of interest on an annual basis.

The demonstration space

A space dedicated to the dissemination of technologies, the demonstration of developed solutions and the presentation of results obtained by CTE to businesses and the territory.

Characterized by 200 sqm of space intended for events, workshops, seminars, training and interaction with T&M district businesses, the space includes the following equipment: 

• Event space for 80 people; 
• Videowall: wall-mounted large screen consisting of four 55” LED screens for continuous playback of multimedia content during events; 
• Touch Screen for Video Conference: latest generation video conferencing system consisting of 86” touch-type monitor, video architecture, wireless microphones, motorized cameras and audio system for conducting video conferences and training with active audience participation;  
• Interactive table: 65” touch monitor, 4K resolution, mounted horizontally on mobile cart for virtual fairs and interactive content; 
• Virtual Reality: immersive system equipped with visor, controller and headphones for augmented or virtual reality experiences, for training and simulation (for example maintenance operations).

Those who are interested in organizing an event in the PRISMA demonstration space related to enabling new technologies can submit an application to the PRISMA secretariat by sending an email to prisma@comune.prato.it.

The demonstration space events are organized in a Calendar prepared by the project office and circular economy and operationally coordinated by the project partner Next Technology Tecnotessile.
