Get to know the entity PIN - Teaching and Scientific Services for the University of Florence - is an innovative organization in Prato that unites and connects three different worlds: Research and Business Services, Master's programs and Advanced Training Courses, and University.

PIN creates networks between the University of Florence and the local economic fabric in order to support companies, guarantee continuous training for students and managers, use innovative tools to create new perspectives, give life to research, and build relationships. Thanks to its 38 laboratories , PIN offers a multitude of high-level services in many sectors: industrial and IC technologies, economics and sociology, energy and environment, culture-arts and entertainment, innovation and agriculture, quality and safety, chemistry-medicine and pharmacology, industrial design, 3D printing. In these areas, PIN carries out business consulting and applied research activities tailored to the real needs of private companies and Public Administration.

What role does it have in the PRISMA project

In PRISMA, PIN will be responsible for technology transfer activities - Management of project laboratories - Training activities - Research and Development projects on emerging technologies and 5G.
