Get to know the project

Since 2011, the Ethics & Young Entrepreneurs (EYE) project has been the ethical entrepreneurship education format in Tuscany and Europe that aims to introduce young people to the idea of business.

In this regard, the Municipal Administration has adopted and funded the project "EYE Ethics & Young Entrepreneurs Prato", promoted by  Artes Lab , the Young Entrepreneurs Group of Confindustria Toscana Nord, Young Entrepreneurs of CNA Toscana Centro, Confartigianato Imprese Prato and with the support of Fondazione CR Prato, a targeted program that offers concrete training to young students of Prato's secondary schools, to introduce them to business rules, self-entrepreneurship, the fundamentals of company management and commercial activity based on the values and principles of ethics and sustainable development.

The training program aims to increase the skills of young aspiring entrepreneurs in the area and to create a favorable environment for the birth of new startups. Specifically, this program aims, as recommended by the European Parliament in its latest update of 22/05/2018 and as included in the European Reference Framework of Key Competences for Lifelong Learning, to stimulate and strengthen entrepreneurial competence among young people, namely the ability to act on ideas and opportunities and transform them into values for others. It is based on creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving, initiative and perseverance, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in order to plan and manage projects that have cultural, social or financial value.

The EYE project aims to introduce young people to the economic-productive and entrepreneurial fabric of the territory in which they live, through entrepreneurial testimonies, company visits, mentoring sessions and dedicated events.

What role does it have in the PRISMA project

In synergy with PRISMA, EYE aims to encourage entrepreneurship among young people from Prato to adopt an ethical approach based on a business culture that places human respect, dignity of work, social responsibilities and sustainability at the center.
