The Memorandum of Understanding

On September 16, 2022, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Municipality of Prato, trade associations, and social partners of the city.

The parties agreed to formalize a periodic coordination table through which to:

1. support the administration in the planning and drafting process of calls for proposals;
2. promote the calls for proposals to their members;
3. carry out constant monitoring of the progress of the calls for proposals, primarily verifying participation trends with the aim of supporting businesses and maximizing participation in the calls for proposals and therefore the impact of the measures.

The Municipality of Prato commits to:

• formalize the coordination table and convene it on a bimonthly basis;
• carry out constant monitoring activities of the promoted calls for proposals;
• manage individual actions either directly or with the assistance of technical partners to be identified in agreement with the signatories of this protocol;
• communicate the various initiatives through its institutional and project communication channels.

The parties commit to:

• ensure constant communication with the municipal administration to enable the exchange of information on the progress and promotion of activities by actively participating in the technical coordination table, and to convene it on a bimonthly basis;
• carry out constant monitoring activities of the promoted calls for proposals;
• coordinate individual actions synergistically, also with the assistance of technical partners;
• communicate the various initiatives through their institutional and project communication channels;
• make skills and personnel available to achieve the objectives of the projects;
• identify among the protocol participants the most appropriate parties to engage in forms of dialogue useful for resolving any issues they identify;
• use their expertise, also through the transfer of useful knowledge for the drafting and management of calls for proposals implemented, to contribute to supporting the textile production sector of the district.
